NK, Row Coach Media, and US National Coxswain Marcus McElhenney bring you the first installment of a video series on the SpeedCoach XL.

This video explains how to reset the "Just Row" memory and reset the timer to 00:00.0 on the SpeedCoach XL.

SpeedCoach XL - This video explains how to set the NK SpeedCoach XL into "zero-stroke mode." This mode allows the SpeedCoach to extrapolate stroke rate data in addition to speed data from the attached impeller which is practical in paddle sports where a seat sensor and magnet can not be used.

SpeedCoach XL - Full System Reset. This video explains how to perform a full system reset on the NK SpeedCoach XL. This function can be accomplished through the menu as well, but this technique should be used if the SpeedCoach is not turning on, but is fully charged. If the battery is allowed to go below 10%, the unit may not turn back on even after it has been on the charger for a long period of time. If you receive the error message "Battery Low Powering Down" this technique should fix the problem.

This video explains how to clear the memory and reset the timer to 00:00.0 on the new NK CoxBox.

StrokCoach with Surge Features.

StrokCoach with Surge mounting options.

This video explains how to change the calibration value on the SpeedCoach Gold. The default setting is 1.000 but this can be changed to account for minor changes based on boat design and where the impeller is installed. You should row a known distance (a buoyed course is ideal) and use the following formula to determine the new calibration value: (Old Cal Value) x (True Distance)/Displayed Distance= New Cal Value
